firs off i would like to say thankyou for entering the challenge, thats what keeps this site going
alright,
technically this photo shows good texture and a good color combination,
i dont see things you could correct with your photo or post processing,
the one thing i see is there is no DOF, its just a full picture of tree bark, not to interesting but it did score a 5.6
maybe if you shot from an angle up or down the tree so we could have seen into the crevases of the bark that would have added some more dof texture
so overall its a good shot you got a not to bad score, next challenge think a little more creative, |

| I grew up playing on sandstone cliffs with rock similar to this. You have truly mastered the texture of the stone. Well done. There are a few minor focus issues around the edges that slightly greater DOF would take care of, but no worries, it's among my top picks. |
