About this shot:
I was searching for some interesting toy or atleast a toy with which I can build a story around.
These jungle boys were at the desk of my friend in offics.
When I saw them it appealed alot. The expression on their face was like they are teasing, but what...?
I placed them like two friends had a small fight on something and teas each other (and also make teasing faces) and stand facing away from each other. It was turning out quite interesting I clicked few shots, but it looked as if something was missing from the picture.
Yes, it was "The had fight for something" and that something was missing.
I looked around and found a mint ball, but it was white. So I took an orange marker and painted it and placed it in center of two friends. Now the picture was compelete.
-----------------------------------------------------------
How I did it:
For this shot, I used white A4 sheets as background. As the subject was too small so placed the camera on a book to get a good angle. I didn't want to use the Flash so to avoid unwanted highlights and shadows (as in my last submission) so I used slow shutter speed, took few shots on 2sec and 4sec shutter speed and the final shot with 6 second shutter speed. Also used 2 second self timer to avoid any camera shake while clicking it. And the light source was normal Fluorescent tube light.

***Greetings From the Critique club***

First of i have to say thank you for entering the challenge, its what keeps dpc going,

lets start.
first off you lighting and setup is good,
the only thing the really takes my attetion away at first is the line where the two peices of paper come together,

your color is good, i like the white background, i like the subjets they are funny, im not sure about the ball, at the same time i like it, it also draws my attetion away,

the sustains:
Your ideas are good,
your lighting is good.

that something in the middle bothers me

The line down the middle takes away from this image for me.

Ha ha, this is really funny, I would have cloned out the line in the middle but you have good lighting and composition.

Very comical, not sure that line in the back was intentional, though?

LOL - Very Cute. Pity bout the line in the middle

My eye keeps going to the line down the back...was this intentional to try splitting them or just happened to be there? Either way for me it is a little distracting. Nice clear shot though...good details on them.

Too bad you can see where the paper edges meet, and it's a little too sharp. But I like it anyway...good idea and composition and color.

I like the tongue sticking out ... blahhhzzz. But, what's with the line down the middle, it fades at the bottom?
