Lazy Riverby DennisheckmanComment: There's beauty in this rugged landscape. The sense of isolation is palpable. Congrats on the HM, Dennis. |

Sharing Communityby chaliceComment: Don, I considered leaving the last one out of the series (as I did with two others not included). In the end, I included it because even with the spiritually inclined, there is grieving when one loses a loved one. That notion probably is not clear enough with the photo, though. |

Reggio23: Oneby rooumComment: Beautiful play of light and shadow, with colors that fill the senses. This series is a joy to view. The fact that it reminds me of my own trip to Italy three years ago adds a quiet layer of nostalgia for me. |

Lakeviewby RKTComment: I was struck by two kinds of edges. One, physical, with markers, walls, fences (with and without clutter); the other, intangible, between the lives of the departed and those who remain and have a connection (the caretakers and those who leave items behind (whether trash or trinkets). The series says as much about the latter as the former, with a range of lingering cares to thoughtlessness expressed by what is left behind. |

looking to progressby daisydavidComment: A very appealing series of photos that gives me a sense of "other" - other time, other places, other lives. Each of them adds to the whole collection, I suspect because of similar processing. Often the shift in perspectives within a single frame adds to the depth of my experience as a viewer as well as depth in the individual photographs. This series is a delight to investigate. |
