After the forbidden fruitby gerakdepanComment: ** Greetings from the Critique Club **
'After the forbidden fruit'
I found this image to be very hard on the eyes, as much is out of focus, and that which is in focus is cluttered by it's surroundings. I really had to search the image to find the mathc with your title - just don't think it was strong enough. Perhaps if you had only the spoon with reflection in the image it would be better.
As for the desat - does not work for me here either.
Sorry I could not be more positive.

Starting with the positive, I like that you thought outside the box and went for a fork in the tracks instead of the silverware type fork. I also like the strong contrast of your image.
The thing that I find most bothersome here is the lack of a strong focus point. My eye is not drawn to the fork in the tracks. I have to search for the meaning here. If the meaning were cold and void, then you would have me. I agree with other commenters that a tighter crop to the tracks, thus less clutter, would be beneficial here.
I hope you find this critique helpful.

'from here to eternity'
A very nicely composed, simple but elegant image. The post-processing done is excellent - not over done. I like your creativity also - using forks instead of the "spooning" spoons. Very clever. I cannot find anything negative at all as the focus, DOF, contrast, saturations are all done so well.

Fork Artby AndrewTOComment: ** Greetings from the Critique Club **
Simple yet elegant. The colors are beautiful. The arrangement of the forks makes for an interesting composition. Focus is tack sharp.
