Took this tonight in my living room across from the Christmas tree. Used a flashlight from the rear, a flashlight from the floor shining on the label, and my 420ex handheld with a brown gel over it bounced off the ceiling. In PS I cropped, blurred the background, cloned out a piece of trim and the flashlight handle. Shrunk the image down and saved for web after some USM.

I love it! I've not been into the holiday season much this year - could use some rum to make it easier. lol DOF is perfect, as is the composition. Bumping you to a 10 .

I don't care for the tanish background. Maybe if it was in front of the tree with the same dof.

Knew I'd be seeing this one somewhere. But what's really great about it is the blurring of the tree and the sharpness of the bottle. although the edges are a bit harsh!

Nice twist on your liquor bottle shot. Works for me. Good lighting.

I hope this was just for the sake of the art, and not your present situation! So many people suffer this time of year, If you fall in that catergory...I pray you receive peace.

This is a great shot. Good job with the DOF. I wish the horizontal lines from your window covering didn't show through, but at the same time it might be bboring without them, so nonetheless, good shot,
