this image and detail of opinion is awesome ... i took agree and am in a similar situation .. great job! if i voted i'd give it a nine ... i'd like to see more colors though ... maybe on the papers ...
the body shop cosmetic stores www.thebodyshop.com use to have a poster and slogan with an over sized (more realistic babrbie doll) on a chassie and the logo was "there are only 8 people in the world that are supermodels" or something like that ... showing that being curvier isnt a bad thing :)

this really is an awesome shot ... the composition of the drops and the clarity work really well ... if you play with photoshop or some kind of program like that .. i'd be interested to see a mock up of the actual magazine idea that you were thinking with text placement and all :) - good to see you back and keep up the great work :)

interesting theme and composition for the matrix challenge ... the lighting is kinda harsh on the coins which blows out the detail in the metal ... but the placement of the sunglasses does cut the image in thirds which is easy on the eyes. the paper money background is a nice touch with the image ... gives it a soft feel - maybe to show innocence and maybe even gullability (sp?) to the general public of those who dont know of the matrix? i dunno .. i'm kinda going off subject .. but over all it's a nice interpretation ... great job ..

ahh the matrix ... what a fun challenge and opportunity for interpretations .. this is an interesting image .. the colors of green and black work well together and the detail and composition plays with my eyes at least .. i think the square crop with the circle on the inside works nicely and draws the eye to the center, although i'm not quite sure that the layout of the coins works along with the circular pattern you've created with the green shiny background ... if they were in in a circle as well i think maybe it would help the composition. over all though this is a pretty cool shot ... what is that in the background? i want to think it's a Compact Disc or something but i dont think it is... very creative idea :)
