My first thought on this is that it is too smooth(too much neatimage used). I think the border is fine but i would have cropped more off the right of the photo(to the tree). I have to agree with the other commenters that the forground needs something. for the sky try bumping your aperture to around 8. this will help keep the sky from blowing out(even for fog)hope this helps

this is my first time looking at your work and this photo caught my full attention right away! simple and elegant. you have made a "boring" subject have character and interest and elegance. very well done. I was very surprised to see that this shot came in at 209th!
