It was a foggy day, not a good one to catch a nice sky, so I had to worked the areas (levels and saturation). Then, the standard: USM, size, borders, save for web

My first thought on this is that it is too smooth(too much neatimage used). I think the border is fine but i would have cropped more off the right of the photo(to the tree). I have to agree with the other commenters that the forground needs something. for the sky try bumping your aperture to around 8. this will help keep the sky from blowing out(even for fog)hope this helps

Yes, I would certainly agree that the foreground needs something of interest. I also might have been tempted to frame the shot a little narrower, just on the tree line on the right, and inside the building corner on the right; my reason is that the ultra wide angle has produced some distortion, and this would help disguise the fact. That siad, you have got some very good things going for the photograph - despite the cloudy day, you have got good even exposure, but best, you have captured a lovely muted colour palette and interesting textures. When you do go back, try some shots of the details - individual windows, a chair against the stonework - there looks to be a great detail of potential in this small scene.

nice shot! I love the wide angle perspective on this shot, however I agree with the other poster, it would look nicer with something in the photo(a person, a dog, a car etc.)

Thanks a lot, Rino
I have commented one of your pictures because I think that is also a good way to learn! I have commented your picture Casina Vanvitelliana (Test HDR1). In fact I like a lot your pictures, specially that pair of Casina
You are right, i will try to clone out the antenna, in that way it could be an image from the past. And yes, it needs something on the front, but I am afraid I will not be able to repeat it (at least not very soon, it is a bit far way from I live).

Inma

well, I write a comment to this image (i hope that you can understand my bad english) Please don't write comment only for Comments interchange, I think that the comment interchange is the most sad thing on the photography web sites. Write only the comments that you want write!

I think that the image is good but have one great problem, there is a too big space without anything. A people, a cycle with a boy or a person. the sky isn't a great sky you can obtain a better performance with photoshop(or similar). In this image there aren't modern elements except for one antenna on the building on the right. I think that is better if you clone out it.
regards
