Good choice of depth of field and desaturation. I like how the subject is isolated.

My favorite of the challenge - love the contrast of colors to the snow and the sunlight streaming in. Has a surreal feel to it without being over the top.

Great job!

One of the best of the bunch I thought. I like the reflection, clarity, selective color.

Wow I can't believe this went so low - It was in my top 10. One of the most critical tools of war is getting to right place.

If the leftmost medal was a bit more in focus it would make this a stronger picture.

Thanks for all the great comments - I took a more psychological view of the word "twisted" and it was fun, if not super DPC friendly.

Really surprised at the score - I really like this shot. If I had to guess this was a victim of fast voting - the ninth guy (the ear) was one of the things I particularly liked.

edit: spelling

I'm usually a big fan of shallow DoF but the two matches to the right of the unlit one are a little too in focus for the extreme oof match on the far left to work well together. I think if all the matches except the red one were more oof it would have worked better - if that makes sense.

I like the overall idea, colors, and lighting.

For some reason my eye naturally lands on the no. 10 horse and I sort of have to force myself to look at the number 9 horse who is the intended subject. Good choice of subject for the challenge and a solid shot.
