Over the Lakeby LadeeMComment: Nice shot. The glare is a little overpowering for my personal tastes, especially when there is also a person in the pic. Have you thought about trying to balance the light with the visibility of the person a little more (i.e., I noticed the light on his shoes as pretty much the first detail about him)? Just a suggestion from someone who's fairly new to the biz... I do like the shot though. |

Its In The Eyeby hdogg4uComment: Spectacular shot! The reflection is tremendous! (IMHO) I think that the eye itself could have been a little crisper and the make-up job a little cleaner and the overall colors could have been turned up a bit (but I have a tendency toward the surreal), but this is really one for the portfolio. Very nice job! (9) |

This Ole House by kevrobertsonComment: I'm really glad you ribboned! It is well deserved. If for nothing else, I kept coming back to this shot because of its uniqueness and its obvious "fit" with the challenge topic. I know I only gave it a 9, but I feel like I was pulling for the underdog in the Kentucky Derby! I certainly believe it was worth the ribbon & I'm glad you got it! Congrats... |

Dark Shadowsby SDWComment: I'm not trying to barrage you with e-mails, but not only did I grow up LOVING the Dark Shadows soap opera, this shot is a PERFECT reflection of it. Very well done - I've added it to my Favorites with a great deal of satisfaction! What a great shot!!! WOW |

Prideby ergoComment: I really liked this shot. I think you probably could have used a little less light from the left (and perhaps a soft light from the center or right), but the model is appealing, has an obvious attitude that is well captured, and the pose & cropping is good. Nice job. (7) |

Hiddenby CutterComment: At first my thought was, "Okay, this pose has been done..." but I was very pleasantly surprised to see a new emotion in the eyes of the model. I like your scarf selection and the background. You captured her eyes wonderfully - they could probably be a little crisper, but I really like this shot. Very well done. (8) |

The Great Divideby StrikeslipComment: Simply breathtaking shot... The haze is a little distracting (but I know you couldn't do anything about that!). What a truly beautiful site. Well done! (9) |
