Least bitternby ovenbirdComment: Fantastic shot! I love the lines in this one. It may be a little too golden from the sunlight, but otherwise the composition, clarity, and crop are superb.
I came back to this one and bumped it up from a 9 to a 10. GREAT job! |

Black swansby ShamanComment: Having been raised around fowl of all kinds (including white & black swans), I really appreciate this image. I love the way that the swans necks seem to create a natural heart. The Australian black swans' mating rituals are truly poetic in their rituals and the permutations of movement they create. The swans look like they may have been a little overprocessed (on their edges), but the clarity of the overhead leaves and the softness of the background work very well. VERY nice shot! Congrats & good luck! (8)

Balance by arnitComment: I love the relative "unbalanced" feel of the shot. Truly a remarkable job. Exceptional cropping and color tones - the composition is impeccable. It looks a little overprocessed (IMHO), but I'm not always very good at determining between naturally occurring abnormalities and the PP ones. I really like the image a lot. (9) |

Formby riotComment: Absolutely beautiful shot & reflection. VERY nice job! :-) I'm sure that this one will do well... It may sound odd, but I think that since this was an Advanced Editing Challenge, you could have selectively removed some of the white spots in the water - just a minor complaint. Also there's a bit of a glare on the white breast feathers of the Polish Mute... All in all, a terrific shot! (8) |
