This was one of my favorites of the challenge. I really love all of your bird photos. I'm glad you were in the top ten.

I had this one marked up as a 10, simply for the graphic quality of the image. Deserved blue.

This was in my top 3, I love the lighting, fantastic bird - well done on finishing in the top 10.

Lovely capture in what I assume is red later afternoon light? Great use of stem in the composition. 7

I like the colors, I like the nearly blank background. Good job catching the action. One of my favorites this challenge.

Love this one, looks like a true "in the wild" shot. (I may be wrong) Great capture.

All the colors compliment each other nicely. Your composition is great, too. The subject is very simple and doesn't need anything else. Nice work.

Very nice capture. I like the sharpness and colors work well together.

Fantastic shot! I love the lines in this one. It may be a little too golden from the sunlight, but otherwise the composition, clarity, and crop are superb.

I came back to this one and bumped it up from a 9 to a 10. GREAT job!

This image seems to have an odd orangish cast. I think that I would have preferred to see this with a horizontal crop, adding more negative space in the direction which the bird is looking.

colors, lighting and position of bird are quite remarkable and complimentary...8

What an excellent capture. The shot is perfectly balanced and the colors are great. Had you burned the shadows of the reeds/palm fronds, it would have been that much more striking. Good luck!

What a big lens you must have!
