Nice work. I also like the color and think that B/W would look good too. I know it's hard to get good DOF across the entire web, but the right side is a little blurry (just a bit of a distraction). I like the background a lot too (nicely fades away to nothingness). Good job.

I like what I think you tried to do with this image, and I like the sentiment. I think it meets the challenge well, but (IMHO) the technical execution could use a little work. Most images I've seen with the blurred kinda "warp speed" effect have a focal point that is very sharply focused. The cross is not as sharp as I think it needs to be for this effect to work the way you were attempting. (At least my interpretation of your goal.) I like the sepia tones and the outer blurred figures are good. I also really like the composition/crop you chose. This is one of those images that almost, but not quite, accomplishes a cohesive and well executed approach. Great try, but I think most voters will probably count off for some of your technically accurate portions as well as those that didn't quite make it. Again, I really like what this photo almost is... Just my 2 cents, so you can throw them out the window if you'd like! :-) 4

Cool shot and interesting angle. IMHO, the borders are distracting (and I'm not a border hater). There is also a glare on the tables and the woman from the light. The DOF is okay, but the graininess may be a conscious choice on your part to emulate old family photos. Not sure the sepia tones work the way you wanted for this image because of the modern feel to the room. Still not a bad shot and you definitely get points for creativity. It meets the challenge well.

Beautiful shot & sentiment. IMHO, it's a little odd that their hands are over a remote control, but I guess it also adds to the air of a simple, familiar 2nd honeymoon and a lifetime of love. Great DOF and I like the use of BW. There is a glare on the bottom of the remote that is a bit distracting, but otherwise I think this is a great shot! 8

This is a great shot. I think it may be cropped a little too tight at the top - I'd like to see all of her head and some more of the umbrella. The expression is great! And I really like the colors. 8

Simply beautiful. Great job! My only negative comment would be the DOF on the people is a little poor and the shadows make them less distinguishable (but I realize the distance makes that very tricky). Beautiful locale and great composition. Nice work. 9
