Fire Fountainby rjhawkinComment: real nice. might've made a better long rectangle than this talll one, or maybe you could've got the entire reflection. shot this way to crop out other light sources? what is this thing, anyway? whatever it is, it's real purty. |

Once Upon a Blue Moonby RackatComment: freaky-deaky, surreal, will probably win the contest for you. will be watching the 'how'd they do that' section for this picture. ten. |

Paris de Nuitby amonteforteComment: i know a girl who studied photo at the corcoran, did a project using this technique. great choice of photo to project, perfect exposure on the ladies' body. you get a big fat ten. |

Gracefully Greenby Silverado57LComment: would like to see the swan in another spot in the rectangle, giving it a little depth, negetive space. |

Aliby undieyatchComment: sorry to give you a low score, it's just that with this challenge, i think it's supposed to be obvious that there's only one source of light. maybe this was shot in a room with one light bulb, but it doesn't have the war of light and shadows going on that i was looking forward to. |

Hare Force (Chess)by MagsCoyoteComment: this doesn't have light contrasting with shadows, which i think is the grooviest part about this challenge. nice chess set though. |

Edison's Gift by stephanComment: ooh, you tricky, should've saved this one for the illusion shot. am i the only one who doesn't know how to make a light bulb light up without screwing it in? nice job, definite ten. |

At the Bottom of the Seaby alanfreedComment: rays of light make this a ten shot. perfect exposre on the front of the conch, just a hair shy of blow out, you can still see all the swirls. big fat ten for you. |

Lady in Red by SeekerComment: a lot of folks tried this trick, you get the highest score of all of them (9) 'cause you chose a subject whose curves contrast with the straight lines of light. nice angle for the lines, how long was your exposure? my camera's got a max of 4 seconds. having a pretty girl around comes in handy, don't it. way to get the most out of your unfair advantage. |
