Well done. The flowers look so delicate, the model's expression so real, the lighting so well placed.

You've sort of got that Blanche Knott thing going! You sure followed the rule of thirds well, and what nice clarity.

Brown? Cute gerbil; I used to have one just like it when I was a kid. I almost want to give it high marks just for looking so sweet and helpless.

Youch. I think I'd want a bit more than a lollipop for compenation (perhaps a pony or a digital SLR). Great composition, strong, working colors. Great.

Ouch. I'd call that an everlasting headache (for the next seven years, anyway). Macro did a lot for this shot!

I'm trying to figure out if the pain you were going for was based around sadness, the strap really digging into her shoulder (not comfy!), or both. Anyway, it captures pain, in both aspects in my opinion. Setting it to black and white gave it a nice, dynamic contrast.

I can identify with that! Points for making remember them! A little bit more contrast in facial shadows would have given it a bit more dynamite, but I do like the slight tilt.

Well composed and quite a poignant message. The smoke was captured perfectly. 10.

Pain for Philly, but oh, what joy for New England! Personally, I have a soft spot for the Colts and the Saints (I know, I know...I'm going by sentimental geographical locations). Anyway, quite timely, nice clarity.

Beautiful shot. I see how it could be linked to pain, although it's not really what pops into my mind first when I see it, but I'm giving it high marks because I see some linkage and the shot is superb.
