Leavingby GordonComment: i love this shot. the patterns of light and color on the floor are fantastic, and the framing i brilliant.i like the motion blur on the guy, but i'd really like to compare it with a shot that had him more in focus. i'm not sure which would look better, though. great job. |

Island Livingby KimblyComment: beautiful. my second highest rating this challenge. parhaps a tad too dark, but i love the feeling the whole thing evokes. great shapes and shadows. |

Selfportraitby manoloComment: would be better on a solid background, i think. the face is nicely lit and well shot, but the background clutter detracts quite a bit from this shot. |

Taking Cover by timj351Comment: in my very humble opinion, this is the best shot that i've seen on dpchallenge since its inception. perfect. you should be very proud of it. i'd love to see it in black and white just for kicks, but it's just fine in color. great job. |

Homage to Hitchcockby PatellaComment: i like this shot. i think it would be better if you could see more of the sillhouette of the person in the shower, though. as it is i didn't even realize someone was in there until i looked at this shot a few times. i think it would break up the negative space that is the shower curtain and add more suspense to the shot. great concept, though, and the b&w is a good touch. |

www.sidblu.comby chariotComment: i like this shot. it's got good colors and great framing. the players in action are captured really well, too. i could definitely see this in a cd layout. |

The Suicide Machineby blueeyedemoboyComment: this is my favorite shot this week, for some reason. the grittiness and texture of the wheel is great and the colors really pop. my only gripe is that i wish it had a little more depth of field to it. too much of the board is blurry. very nice shot, though. |

Fire & Iceby mciComment: thanks for all your comments. for the record, the transition i was going for was from cold to hot. thanks to all the idiots who said it wasn't a transition. i'm well aware that water never actually turns into fire. i fall into a trap in these challenges because i use a very bright flat panel monitor at home that always shows a lot more detail in the dark areas of the photo when compared to other monitors. i'm going to have to alot for that next time i take a dark shot. |

walkin' aroundby mnewmanComment: this is brilliant. if those cars weren't there, i'd give you a 10. this guy is the epitome of all that is good and right in this world. |
