Tall Yucca with Streetlightby dahvedComment: That's kind of cool. I'd like to see a bit more depth in the clouds / sky - might be good with levels and curves in Photoshop if you've got it. If not, then possibly another photo processing program to give the sky a bit more interest. I like the simplicity of this shot a lot. I like the way you've got the entire tree in, with the empty space at top. |

Dinosaur Fossilby GinaqComment: It's probably a very interesting fossil, and the focus sure is good. Still, there are a couple of things that are keeping me from giving it a good score. The straight-on view and close crop makes it fairly uninteresting to me, since I wasn't there to see it in person. The surroundings might be interesting to see, to get the museum context, or maybe a different angle would add a little excitement. Finally, for dpc, it's always a good idea to try and make one side the full 640 pixels that you are allowed. Hope this helps a little. Keep shooting! |

I did not expect to find this guy.by jimsappComment: WOW, what incredible detail! This is really an amazing catch. I hope you are very proud of this - you deserve to be! I love those spots and those downy feathers in its face. 10! |

Sometimes They Visitby popdeepopComment: I like the wide angle and the colors. The horses are a little too dark, though. If they were completely dark, it might work. The lines of the fence are nice, too. |

Oops, Caught in the act by TechoComment: Wow, that is a find! Not crazy about the pink, but boy oh boy, the technicals are nice. Love that flower / leaf thing at the bottom. It's got great colors. I'm interested in hearing how you managed this shot. Good job! |

Going For Brokeby isonajComment: Fits the challenge well and I like that you went for black & white here. The left hand is a little blown, but converting to b&w has helped you with that. Clever title and nice comp. |

Discovering That Elmo Isn't Realby weiszComment: Haha! What a story :-) Awesome costume! Technically speaking, I'll say that I like the angle of view a lot. The ray of light at Elmo's feet might be a slight distraction (could be either wider so it feels like part of the story or not there at all), but it's not a big deal. But I like everything else very, very much! |
