 The pink background was just a plastic barrel in the background. Luck and an Unexpected find it was indeed :)
Spent the day mostly photographing ladybugs and then these two hoverflies flew in.

PS work: Crop, Levels, Noise Reduction, Sharpened(unsharp mask), Hue/Sat (bump in Sat and slight change to Hue), Resized and Sharpened again.

I actually think the pink is rather suiting to the image, considering the theme ;) Couldn't do much about the ununiform background blotch near the bottom right corner there in Basic Editing. But, everything else is just the way I would've set it up, which I didnt hehe. How could I. The shot was handheld so no extra hands to spare and no flash was used, so the high iso.

Oh btw, those specks on the bugs is most likely just some pollen. These hoverflies look like a cross between a bee and fly.

Wow, that is a find! Not crazy about the pink, but boy oh boy, the technicals are nice. Love that flower / leaf thing at the bottom. It's got great colors. I'm interested in hearing how you managed this shot. Good job!

Great macro. I'm a little put off by the pink background, I am guessing it is a flower but it just doesn't seem to go with the photo. A green background would be better I think. But this is still a great photo.

Lol! Don´t mind nudes but this is over the line! Just kidding :) NIce job on the lighting, feel the backround should be solid pink though, that it becomes lighter towards the bottom right corner bothers me a little bit. Nice work, 7 from me.
