It's probably a very interesting fossil, and the focus sure is good. Still, there are a couple of things that are keeping me from giving it a good score. The straight-on view and close crop makes it fairly uninteresting to me, since I wasn't there to see it in person. The surroundings might be interesting to see, to get the museum context, or maybe a different angle would add a little excitement. Finally, for dpc, it's always a good idea to try and make one side the full 640 pixels that you are allowed. Hope this helps a little. Keep shooting! |

Good idea.I think it would have been more interesting with a different composition, like from an angle and lit from the side so you can see the texture. Or you could zoom in very close on the head to get the detail of it. |
