UFO by indigo997Comment: The colours in this are simply stunning - that cobalt blue against the orangey yellow with the white trails... This would be an 8 for me if the white and blue marks at the top left were cleaned, which I appreciate you can't spot edit for DPC entries, but have no doubt already done for your own master copy? I also like the composition very much. 7, Kavey |

Reflectionsby waltomlComment: I like the shapes caused by the reflection but find the reflected head too close to edge of frame. 7, Kavey |

Cowspaceby RemieComment: This rocks. I want to say all sorts of clever things but I can't elucidate. Perhaps I will come back and add more later. 10, Kavey |

alienby snowComment: This is sooo weird but I really like it. It's very eery and the grain and limited range of greys adds to that. It's reminds me of that Canadian show where the guy is like "I'm going to crush your head, crush your head"... 7, Kavey |

Horizonby zeonComment: Love the sand and water. Sky seems boring in comparison. I wonder if you could just crop to landscape and include sand only from bottom half of photo? The black shadows could be the neg space and really WOW! 5, Kavey |

Flaming Lipsby arnitComment: I love this. The way the black vest bleeds into the darkness is great and the way the flame lights his face and skin is wonderful. I like the positioning of his arms, and of him within the frame. The flame has been captured brilliantly and would not be so striking against any other background. I'd like there to be just a hint more black space above the top of the flame so it is more surrounded by the darkness of the frame. This is an excellent image! 10, Kavey |

Boxed Inby siggithorComment: I'd like this more if there were no box in it. Just the child in that same position with the black background. Perhaps taking it from exactly front on to the box would give that? As it stands the box feels like a secondary object and part of the positive space, rather than negative. Sort of semipostiveseminegative! 5, Kavey |
