A great photo opportunity! One wonders how the poor car ended up in such dire straits? The image seems very top heavy to me because of the overhanging branches at the top but lack of much at all in the foreground.

Storm Rolling in

Certainly desolate but at the same time not a truly compelling image. But I think it can be very hard to show desolation and at the same time keep the image really interesting. I do like the diagonal at the bottom of the sea shore and would like to see it a little higher in the frame.
I think I'd also prefer the position of the horizon to be a touch higher or lower - it's a little close to middle for my tastes in this shot.
Still a nice image though.

Troubled Horizon

This one has grown on me after multiple viewings. I feel I'd like to see more of the road, just for it to be further in to the frame, but of course, I don't know what lies to it's right. If it's more of the same I think it would work. I love the shapes of the steam or smoke emissions and the darkened sky.

Nice idea and interesting graduation from white to dark across the diagonal. Position of bird within frame feels a little unbalanced - this is one that I think would benefit from a rule of thirds cross-section position.

Flying Solo

Oh but this is too beautiful - it makes me dream of holidays and summer nights and romantic walks and all things wonderful. Ignoring that, since others might see loneliness here, depending on their viewpoints, it's a lovely image, nice focal point in the bird nad nice reflections of light and colour in the water. I like the wavy line of coloured water.

Nice textures and colours and the contrast between earth and metal is good. Composition is interesting but just doesn't feel quite balanced to me - I think it would be worthwhile playing around with the position of the three balls.
