| Hooray! A desolate place! Normally I would like a desert photographed with some dawn or dusk light to give it some life but the flat light you found just added to the feelilng of desolation. Excellent composition - putting the driftwood in the forefront like you did really works. I expect to see a scorpien crawel out from the crack in the log. Interesting choice of tone with the sepia. |

| Normally I don't care for framing very much but in this case it really gives great contrast to the tone of this picture. The compositon is great! and I like the title too. |
