 This tombstone is embedded in a tree that has to be at least 150 years old in the Nashville Cemetary. You can make out the writing on it but cannot read it.

That looks like a tombstone eaten by the tree! Where did you find this? And the tree looks covered in mud. The brownish tones suit the picture very well. ~7

I love the shot, but I just can't describe it as desolation. It's fascinating as a scene, crisp and contrasty but it's just too off the challenge.

Wonderful textures and makes me wonder about how the grave came to be abandoned to the extent that the tree grew up through it.
