Red Sky in the Morningby vtruanComment: ...sailors take warning. That's the proverb, though I can't say I'm familiar with the book.
I like this image a lot - mainly because of the great curve of red beneath the sun - what a great shape. Clouds and sky colour are good too.
Image quality seems rather ... textured - I'm trying to think of a better word for it but... hopefully you'll understand what I mean? |

The Railway Children by Edith Nesbitby jonpinkComment: A lovely picture with wonderful leading lines - I like how it all seems to come forth from the lower left corner. I can't help thinking it would tie in better were there a couple of kids on the platform - even if they were reasonably far back along the platform. Focus seems a touch soft? |

The Long Road Home (by Danielle Steel)by TwocentzComment: Nice choice of road segment; I like the curves - on both planes.
Sky is moody but overall image feels a touch too dark - that said - if the story is about a dark journey to be made then it may well be appropriate. |

Grace In Autumnby roy204Comment: A lovely image, with the exception of the sky, which pulls it down somewhat. It's a little bright and bland to complement the rich colours of the foliage. |

Femme Fataleby magnetic9999Comment: Hi Koll!
Nice use of subtle lighting and strong use of shadow to create mood. I like that she's looking into the negative space area - makes one wonder what is there. Composition works well for me. Colour tone is a little pink though. |

Catch 22 by Joseph Hellerby trainComment: A clever approach to this book title. I'd crop marginally at the bottom to remove that area of wrist at the lower left corner. |

The Joy Of Cookingby GeneralEComment: Sweet! Lighting could be improved - perhaps some tissue or cloth over the lighting source to soften it and reduce the glare on the metal bowl? A touch more light onto his face would also be good. |
