 Probably a little dark for some monitors, but I couldn't improve on this one without spot editing.

Well made image, and good idea. I think that I'd have tried it with the fingers intertwined. On the other hand, that could have been considered a cliche. Nice work!

Well lit, excellent compositon. Good gray toning. Hard black/white border keeps the eye in the frame.
The choice of aperture keeps the focus on the fingers. Perpaps that is one of the main elements in human bondage; focus on the person, not the rope. :)

The long nail on the fifth finger leaves me wondering, are these the hands of a male or a female?

Creative entry. It certainly is a contender in my opinion. I would have liked to have seen a lighter colored rope though. The long dirty fingernails are also distracting.

Personally, I would go a little bit more like the acid koolaid picture! The nails are too well kept to convey a feeling of slavery, bondage, or anything like that- except maybe credit card debt- sorry I'm such a wise ass- I did rate you with a good number (8.5)

Great use of subtle lighting and of shadows to create mood. I'd like to see the lit area just a touch more horizontally centred - ie crop from the right a fraction.

interesting ligitng, but all in all a little too dark of an image... maybe if the light was cast a little more on the right side?
