Industrial shoreby pacpintoComment: The tiny white pinpricks of light really lift this image. I like the space you've given to the sky and sea - gives an interesting idea of scale. |

Copper Fieldsby NaldComment: I like the way we can see the industrial plant surrounded by a natural environment. The muted colours of everything but the foreground trees works well. With the steam and the chimney mirroring each other it feels a little to centred horizontally for my preferences. |

Fire Tornadoby FalcComment: Interesting! Almost a geometric abstract and yet the textures and materials give a strongly industrial feel. Also has both a spiritual and a sci-fi touch to it. |

chocolate by ursulaComment: Great positioning to achieve a wonderful backlit silhouette. I like the way it makes such a strong diagonal across the frame. Personally, I'd crop the building out completely so we had a really surprising presentation of a vast cloud billowing from a tiny chimney. |

Mass Producing Mindsby balancedfoxComment: Great use of repetition and I really like the hard light and shadows together with a high contrast black and white presentation. |

Poison Sky Cloud Factoryby SkipComment: Like the high grain with the black and white treatment. Interestingly minimal interms of detail. Nice perspective. Dislike the heavy border. |

Underground Miningby JudiComment: Nice portrait - like how he's illuminated by a spot of light amidst the dark. Focus seems soft on his face. |

Samoa Pulp Mill by bryanbrazilComment: Some intriguing shapes in the steam clouds - how strange that they are all going in different directions - must be some interesting wind currents! Makes for a fascinating image though composition doesn't feel balanced, left to right, for me. Either more space to the left so that the main interest is on the right hand side of the frame or less space there to make it more centred would work better for me. |

Ship Repairmentby gsalComment: Quirky and bold composition. Like the way most tones are red ones. Think this is a really unusual and successful image. |
