 An oil refinery works, just by the Ocean.
Looks kinda almost beautiful in the sunset.
The beach name is "Praia do Paraíso", which translates into "Paradise Beach", a nice ironic twist...

Some small color corrections, NI.

This is very interesting, particularly the sky as it descends from "clean" to "pollluted" looking. The water looks merky and polluted as well. Good overall story, composition and tones.

Very nice layout good subject choicea bit too blurred on right side(caused by smog?)
Most voters as of late seem to like ("bright and shiny".) This may be a bit too drab for there liking. Good luck!

The tiny white pinpricks of light really lift this image. I like the space you've given to the sky and sea - gives an interesting idea of scale.
