Byzantines' Patternsby HighNoonerComment: Oooh, Jerash! Wonderful place. Nice image but seems very soft and could do with minor rotation as I keep instinctively tilting my head slightly to the right to correct it. |

Old Tree Stumpby kiwinickComment: Beautiful subject matter and high contrast black and white does bring it out well though I think some of the detail has been lost by upping the contrast a touch too much. |

... nature's necklace ...by rozComment: Lovely gradiation of those blues and lovely lighting on the water droplets. Composition, with web lines meeting at one corner of the frame, works. |

flightby hopperComment: Great combination of repetitive shapes and colours with irregular ones. Love the simple colour palette, composition and wonderful textures. |

Fiery Patternsby sherpetComment: Wow! I really like the colour shifting but the saturation seems just a tiny touch too harsh though at the same time it's kind of interesting. Love the single very sharp point included at the centre. |

Wavesby WindtaleComment: Nice choice of viewpoint and black and white treatment to showcase this beautiful tile work. |

Do you want AA's with that?by PhotologistComment: On a purely visual level the shot works well - strong colours, good composition, good lighting and nicely curved, unobtrusive backdrop. But I'm not sure I get the point behind combining batteries and fast food packaging? Probably missing the concept/ idea that would make this one fall into place for me. |

Soldiers of Powerby smykComment: Too centred to be truly off-centred but not centred enough to work as a centred composition either and there's a tilt too - these little details are more important in an image where geometry/ reptition/ shape are the key visual impact. Nice lighting. |
