Peek-A-Boo!by ArcyComment: Very cute dog, but I must (yet again) say that it doesn't fit the challenge. The bokeh does nothing special for the shot, and could be whatever it wanted to be. |

Knife or Death?by shutterflyComment: I ask the question I've asked myself for all the shots here: What does the bokeh do for the photo? This is a nice shot, but it doesn't have the touch of bokeh. The bokeh should be enhancing the non-bokeh. |

what's YOUR name?by xcharrierComment: The problem here, I think, is that the bokeh doesn't enhance the picture. The bokeh is just bokeh and nothing more, and I think the point of the challenge is that the bokeh should be what makes the picture good. If you replaced the background in this one, it wouldn't be any worse or better. |

Storm Surferby marboComment: Good capture. Although I prefer the bird to be in another position where it might give some emotion to the picture itself, the photograph fits the challenge well. |

The Psychedelic Experienceby typologicComment: Maybe you got a little hooked on the bokeh idea - which I've also seen in many of the challenge entries here. I like the idea, but I think the DOF is too shallow since the only thing I can see, is the "Jackson" logo. |

Biker Bokehby gustoComment: Badass. Nice skin tones. The first thing that strikes me is that the background looks a little christmasy, oh, the irony... And the title sounds like his club. Good composition, well done. |

Dragon Fireby NeoScalesComment: Wow, this is a nice photograph. It's nitpicking though, but I'd wish the whole head would be in focus. Maybe a tad deeper DOF would help, but that again might ruin other things in this shot. Also, one of my more golden rules of composition is "leave the empty space where the subject goes" - so I'd have the head more to the right as he's pointing and looking in a leftwards direction. |
