excellent capture. i think you would have had a stronger entry, though, if you had tended to the blowouts (and, this being under advanced editing rules, there are plenty of things you could have done legally). good luck!

It is hard to see what the background is, but the bird stands out so wonderfully. Both because of lens sharpness, exposure and good lens contrast I guess. 9

Stunning exposure of this avian in flight. Bokeh is not quite ideal in that the strong light cast on the tips of the trees blows out those portions. Not excessively distracting, but still an issue. Yet overall a fabulous entry. 7

Good capture. Although I prefer the bird to be in another position where it might give some emotion to the picture itself, the photograph fits the challenge well.
