Harmonica Manby ceyvalComment: Nice composition, well cropped. The effect of the two light forearms and the light hat framing the dark face is striking. 7 |

What a World It Would Beby CutterComment: I like this. Something about the body language of the two spectators suggests to me that they are more annoyed than appreciative of the performance. And something about the musician's body language suggests he doesn't give a stuff what they think; they're gonna get the damn song anyway. It's a very appealing and interesting photograph. It tells a story and stimulates the viewer's imagination, and that's what I think good, artistic photography is about! 9 |

RAWKby BobsterLobsterComment: Terrific photograph. The relationship between the guitarist and the most prominent fan is wonderful; shows just how much the former loves making music & how much the latter enjoys it. I'd have still been happy if you'd decided to crop off the bit of a person (?) encroaching on the right, even though it would mean knocking a bit off the fan's shoulder. 8 |

I Can't Live Without Itby maralomarComment: Strong image. The tight crop and your chosen depth of field together strip away all potential distractions, and ensures the subject dominates the shot . Also well photographed and processed. 7 |

Serena Maneeshby turbulensComment: A really super bass player study. The machine heads, the terrific hair and the awful tattoos, the facial expression and posture, and even the blue stage light; it all works to create a lot of interest and impact. Excellent composition, well captured & processed. 8 |

The bass player by geimdrengurComment: Nice composition. The spotlight and the bass's neck work together to frame the musician very dramatically. I also like the spare, stripped-to-the-bones feel of it. Suits character of the instrument. 7 |

Drums Along The Riverby pablo1029Comment: A really good drummer shot. It's a good (if almost inevtiable) composition, but the lighting and the exposure have lifted it above the ordinary. 7 |

Still Having Funby bobgaitherComment: Very nice street music image. His facial expression is appealing, and the beer sign adds a lot to the impact. 7 |

Satyriconby DonAmonComment: Don't know this band. They must pretty bad. Your photograph is very effective, however. I don't mind the distracting equipment at the bottom; it reinforces the 'live' feel. 7 |

Rhythm of the Cityby milo655321Comment: Love the composition. Cropping the heads off the pedestrians was a very clever decision, as was including the glimpse of the approaching person, and thus explaining what the musician is looking at. Also love the instruments; they also serve as furniture! A very intelligent & thoughtful image, loaded with allegory. 8 |
