| Don't know this band. They must pretty bad. Your photograph is very effective, however. I don't mind the distracting equipment at the bottom; it reinforces the 'live' feel. 7 |

Great shot, great hair, good facial capture, great subject, great smoke, good lighting. I'm going to give you a 9. And I think if you were to crop the bottom ledge out and experiment with saturation so as to desaturate the red cap in the center then you'd have a shot at a 10. |

| Looks like quite a character. Good exposure, colour balance is good, a competent shot. Does strike me as a little unimaginative though, most decent photographers would have got a similar shot from the pit here. Did you take a stepladder? If not, this could have helped you get his feet and avoid including the edge of the stage. |

| Nothing says "heavy metal" like spikes, makeup, and flailing hair. Nice "live" feel. I like the lighting in the back, but it's a bummer the equipment is slightly distracting (especially that thing with the red cap. Were this advanced editing, you could have taken care of it, so I won't hold it against you...) 9. |

| just LOVE the hair!!!!! and the pose, and it screams hard music. The only thing I don't like is the stage, it's to distracting, an much to blurry. If you cut that of, just above the stick with the red, it would be great :) |

| A little more contrast would have bumped up a point for me. Otherwise one of the better ones in the challenge I've seen so far. Great action. |
