Thin Iceby GeneralEComment: You capture a great deal of detail in this picture. That unfortunately, does not lend itself to a point of reference. Without the title, I was unable to determine what I was looking at. Even with the title, I don't know what my eye is supposed to be drawn to. Another angle may also have helped you eliminate the glare. I hope this feedback is helpful. Please forgive me if I hurt you. Please continue shooting. |

New York Yankeesby MagsCoyoteComment: Nice picture but the challenge was to take a picture of something new, not something with the initial ("N") of the word "new" in it. |

Third Riseby Ricky CleaveComment: I like action shots and the artistic blur really enhances this picture. there is one thing that makes me wonder if this picture has stepped over "legal" bounds and that is the hand--why is it missing? |

wish listby queen 91Comment: Well, you and I ended up within 4 places of each other. Lesson learned: never do shot the expected. Bummer! Now I am stumped as to new "childhood" challenge. Apparently no playgrounds, no toy stores and no schoolyards are going to impress. |

wish listby queen 91Comment: I am looking forward to finding out who took this picture. I'll explain later. Okay, it is so late in the voting, what's the likelihood you'll read this before tomorrow: I took the other PTCruiser picture. I accomplished the same goal as you did, but I love the night lighting in this picture. In mine, I attempted to completely play down WHAT the car was and focus on the elements of new. There were three: 1) the dealer plate (no license yet), 2) the zero-percent financing (as in yours), and 3) the dealer flags reflected in the car window and hood. In spite of all that, I have consistently all week held at 4.1 in my feedback. And someone actually has the gall to tell me I didn't meet the challenge. |

Bouquet for the drawing artistby sylkComment: Can I swap eyes and artistic talent with you? The most impressive thing to me in this picture is the symmetry in this picture. The bluish background in the upper left throws that off a bit. Too bad we didn't know that this week is "Pencils." I think you would have won. |

A New Addictionby lamedosComment: I wanted to let you know that this is an excellent shot. You made your point (no pun intended). I didn't grade this high (5) because I could not separate my gut feelings from my desire to be objective. I've lost some friends to additions and the needles invokes too many bad memories. (Added 8/17: dpchallenge is a good thing. The needle, in my mind, represents bad addictions.) |

Monetary Reformsby stephanComment: I think there were two ohter coin submissions. Yours stood out because of the excellent lighting. You made your point without my having to read your caption. |
