This is a beautiful shot. It captures the sky and the foreground with great aplomb. DOF is absolutely top notch, it has great drama and wonderful atmosphereâ€Â¦ (10)

Great idea and a really good shotâ€Â¦ Although slightly boring – I think – it's still a really well taken shot. (8)

This is a well thought out, romantic, tender shotâ€Â¦ It captures the essence of the challenge. It is technically superb (in my opinion of course) and I think this could be a winner (may be) - I have no hesitation in scoring the max (10)

This is a great image. It conveys so much – my interpretation is first day at (a new) school. The child in the picture has been – by accident or by design – posed to perfection. A great title would have been 'I need a hug'. The loneliness conveyed makes you want to reach out and reassure the little chap that everything's going to be all right. The angle produces a superb sense of scale and creates a feeling of trepidation for both the child and the onlooker. This is a really professionally executed shot and deserves 10 easily. Great shot all round, good luckâ€Â¦

This is a love it/ hate it shotâ€Â¦ Personally, I love it. Use of B&W stops it from being over cluttered; this gives the image more personality and the light reflection off the bales has been well used. Overall, it's a fairly boring shot made interesting by good techniqueâ€Â¦ No offence meant by the wayâ€Â¦ (8)

This would have been a great shot had the sun been much lower in the sky (I think); just peeping over the roof perhaps. It looks too much like deliberate over exposure to create the atmosphere, rather than naturalâ€Â¦ Good shot, good ideaâ€Â¦

The idea is good and the picture is fine. It does seem (in my opinion) to lack a central theme. I'm not really sure how to be constructive here, but I'll try. It has a snapshot quality about it. Perhaps, taking the shot lying down or from another (equally odd angle) would have helpedâ€Â¦
