Selfish Portrait IIIby UNCLEBROComment: Returning for comment. Excellent character shot. Overall, a little too dark for my personal taste, but at second look am bumping up. |

My one half is darkby JoziComment: Returning for comment. Interesting composition - you've filled the frame well. This shot might have been stronger if one element had been kept in focus, particularly the eye. Perhaps some light bounced up from below the chin would have helped with the shadows cast by the bangs. The expression in the eye is good. |

OH NO , I can't beleive Im dead! !by RulerZigzagComment: Returning for comment. Sorry - it took me three looks and over 5 minutes to figure out that this was a mirror! OK, I get it now. With regard to composition, it's just a bit too cluttered with competing subjects to be a winner. You had a great idea, and you've mastered the long shutter aspect. |

Wondering what he's up to...by Everyday ReneeComment: Returning for comment. Good capture of facial expression. Lighting is not to my personal taste - looks a bit blown out to me as you've lost one of the arms to the window. There doesn't seem to be a clear definition between the earrings and the necklace. Well titled and composed. |

Wondermentby wkoffelComment: Returning for comment. My personal taste does not lean towards high-key, but you've almost convinced me here. Composition is good, expression is good, use of negative space is good. At second look, bumping up. |

Untitledby ladpupmoeComment: Returning for comment. Why not titled? Good capture of facial expression. Use of selective saturation seems random and might not add as much to the shot as you intended. With regard to composition, you might try leaving less negative space on top, so that your eyes are in the top third of the frame. Lighting is good. |

candidby MarkComment: Returning for comment. You've got a great idea here, and compositionally your lines are good. The sky looks a little blown out. Overall, a good concept. |

ME MYSELF & I'M WEIRDby fotodudeComment: Returning for comment. A unique take - I like how you've gone with three different facial expressions. Unfortunately, one of the fades left too much ear on the main pose which distracts and detracts. Overall, a nice shot. |

Long Exposureby RgarciaComment: Returning for comment. Interesting idea. It seems your intent was to disguise your face; perhaps using different lighting and a tighter crop would have helped. You should feel good about taking a risk. |
