Help if can -- God Blessby debitiptonComment: i would have focused tighter on the subject so you can read the sign and still show the traffic and determination in her expression...the uncertainty of what the passerbys might be thinking... |

..diner comes first...by TedvandenBerghComment: pic is a bit dark and you lose the individual components...at first I thought the dark object was a raven in the drain pipe bathing.... I would love to see this pic with more lighting and bracket it a couple stops on either side to see the impact it might make.... |

Hotel of the poorby JinksComment: Reminded me of many cellars in Yugoslavia, Croatia and BH I used to see in eastern Europe.. The fine cut stone building behind it caught me as out of place at first glance...but then I saw the contrast. |

Soup Lineby CamComment: I llike the pic and think it fills the caption for POVERTY better than most I have viewed...and the stark grey background and colorful persons makes it more striking in my opinion...i love it. |

Windowlessby yael27Comment: I like this one as well...wonder if the bright sun was washing out the colors a bit though...maybe a tighter shot showing the detail and deterioration of the window would captivate the emotion better.... |

Photographic Poverty?by SteveJComment: This made me smile and laugh out loud...as I was just today contemplating the draw between a Canon 20D or lesser model...insert my head in that picture as well. LOL |

Abandoned Dreamsby TuckersmomComment: This photo is perfect in the black and white format in my opinion...it has you concentrate more on the weathering of the wood, the opened grain from exposure to water and sun while also giving you that bleak or unemotional view on a very emotional circumstance. The vines distracted me some from the window and slats of the home...but was still captivating. |
