Food or Foot? by nessnajComment: Ingenious! I think that i would have spent more time on the title. "Hoof and Mouth"? No. "If the shoe fits, eatit"? No. "Food with soul"? Maybe. "Put your foot in your mouth"? Doubt it. "Sensuous Foot"? I do not know what would be better, but I am sure something would have been. Great job. 8 |

Scrambled eggby hmairComment: OK. Normally I am not a strict interpreter of the challenge descriptions but in this case I have to take off points for your entry which to me is not a recipe but an excellent stop motion. I do this because your entry could easily have been saved for a more appropriate competition. It is not time sensitive as you could have produced it at any time. It is a great photo nonetheless but I just don't think that special effects (without a recipe) should win this one. 5 |

Omlette with Lox Feta and Spinachby _eugComment: Very nicely done. I like everything in focus and the dark bacground works well. The silverware is a distraction (I probably would like to see them on the plate or ommitted) 7 |

Enjoy the meal!by Boris the bladeComment: The lighting is a little odd, resulting in dull tones. The choice of a plain plate w/ no garnish vs the colorful soup is unfortunate. And for me the spoon should be facing the viewer to "invite" us to eat. This way makes me feel "uninvited" (That's probably just me). 5 |

Last nights dinner .... untainted and ready to eat!by kari1Comment: Bad title. For me the composition is a little wierd. What would have happened if the glass were moved between the two dishes? I think you would have gotten a tighter crop and a more prominent presentation. Also I do not like the lighting on the wine. 6 |
