I agree.
A wider focal plane, instead of a pin point would of been better.
AV might of saved the blown out whites, and the blacks could use some help as well.

| I just ate dinner and I think I am ready for this to be my dessert. I will have to get this recipe for my daughter to make. She loves to make cheesecakes. and this looks like one of the best. going back for a second time and bumping up to score. If a picture can make food look this good, then it is a great picture |

| the lighting seems a bit harsh and the focus could be a little better, but the whole oreos as well as the broken up ones in the dish off to the side is a very nice touch - looks really yummy - can't wait to get the recipe off your comments - nice work :) |

oreo's are as close to black and white as you can get, making them a challenging thing to get a good photo of. I would take a clue from their own marketing and try to drop some saturated blue behind there instead of black - would add much more appeal to what looks like a killer recipe.
commercial photographers I've worked with in the past even have gone so far as to put blue gels on their lights when shooting this kind of dessert -

| I like the composition and the crop. The focus seems to be clearer on the pile of Oreo's than on the cheese cake. Good lighting to give nice reflections from the glass bowl. |
