Citrus Drinkby MaYzComment: Great use of negative space! Wrong week though :( Anyway, I think this is a great photo. I like the good focus on the orange and the fly. Its good how you have included the fly, but only as a secondary thing. It is so easy to accidently make the fly the main focal point but you have suceeded well in avoiding that. 8. -- Konador |

Stir Fry Frenzyby lisaeComment: i like this shot, it is a refreshing change to the other photos and is also pretty good. I like the intentional blur because it adds movement and sound. (Okay I'm Bonkers, you dont have to tell me, but the blurryness adds life, and therefor I can hear it cooking.) -- Konador |

A Long and 'Rinding' Roadby chrisabComment: This is by far my favorate image in the challenge this week. The idea is great and you've pulled it off superbly. The vivid colours, lighting, and focusing are all fantastic!! 10, there is no doubt -- Konador |

Twist of Limeby jkiolbasaComment: Very nice photo! I can imagine this being very hard to capture! I like your choice of background colour, the orange and green go together very well, and it isn't as boring as if you'd have used black or green. Unfortunatly the photo quality is quite grainy, and that looks like a compression problem, but the actualy capture is excellent. 7 Konador |

Zoink!by KarenBComment: Very nice photo. The background is busy, so makes this shot more interesting, but it isnt too distracting. That's always a good thing :). I think to improve the photo you could ask your model to widen the eyes, and raise the eyebrows, to give a more scared look! Failing that, you could just put a normal apple on his head and then REALLY fire an arrow at him. That should get you a more scared looking expression. 8 Konador |

Genetic Engineeringby autoolComment: One of my fave shots this week. Altho this idea has been used in a few other shots I like this the best because it is simple, and the 2 totally opposite colours are great. Red and Yellow (and a blue background) all the primary colours, its awesome. I think it could look better if the banana skin was at a slightly different angle tho, so you can see all 3 peels without one being hidden, but I still vote this a big fat 10! - Konador |

Forbidden Fruit by jmsetzlerComment: I feel awkward voting on this because people might think that i like it because of the nakedness, but to be truthful it is a fantastic photo (and the model ain't half bad either :P ). The curves from her pose blend in so well with the apple, and her pink pastel skin is great contrast to the black background and the vibrant red apple! Great photo, and best of luck in the challenge! 10 -- Konador |

Strawberry Wineby DougPazComment: I like this photo very much, I gave it a 7, and the comments I give will be quite nit-picky, so be warned. Its a nice composition but you must take into account out-side of the frame aswell. I can see a blue grate shape reflected in the glass and I think it is quite distracting, and against the red feeling of the photo. The main strawberry in this photo (at the front) is not fully ripened, and has a white are on the top. You were probably unaware of this while shooting, but a ripened strawberry would look nicer :) Finally I think the "strawberry wine" is a little weak. I would have likes it to be more af a promanent red colour, rather than the watery solution shows here. Even if that is the actual wine you used, I feel it could have been tampered with to improve the photo. Oh, one last thing, //www.neatimage.com/ is a great program for cleaning digital noise, of which I can see quite prominently in this photo, check it out :) |
