PaW 2009 Week 2: Waxing Gibbousby marcbentonComment: Hey buddy I'm with ya on trying out new toys - priorities, ya know!
I see the green fringe that was mentioned. Shutter speed 1/125th; did you use a tripod? The pic is nice and sharp. Just fyi I think it's an interesting and worthy PAW. |

2.52 To workby MelethiaComment: Man I love that processing! The photo looks so solid, or something along those lines. The man's broad shoulders and torso along with the dark gray overcoat add to that feel. He looks purposeful. And there is so much visual interest and context in the background... really nice photo. |

The Fence Needs Fixin'by quicheComment: Your artistic eye is evident. Nice job with the b/w conversion... since you're working on p/p skills specifically, you might want to summarize your steps so that others with that talent (not me!) can give you feedback on your process. |

reflectionby RetroesqueComment: Very impressionistic, very artistic. The color rules imo. Two elements that I like are the water ripples and also the two diagonal blades of grass, one on each side of the clump, that bend down into the water and really create an anchored feel to the whole composition. I could see this on your wall! |
