Nice close up of Moon. Not very sharp, but I understand the limitations you were working with here. |

Very good job on the getting the exposure correct, I have problems with that myself. You may want to try desaturating to get rid of the greenish ring, or perhaps just using a color tool. |

Nice moon shot, but the green is a little disturbing. Good luck with your new lens, it has a nice range. |

PAW - Very impressive, sharp, well exposed shot of the moon for a 75-300 zoom. I tried this before with my 18-200 and it didn't turn out well at all. I tried again tonight with similar results. I did it hand-held with stabilization turned on. A tripod would probably work better. Did you use fully manual exposure settings? It's hard to get good exposure with automatic. You may have gotten even a better shot with lower ISO. |

Hey buddy I'm with ya on trying out new toys - priorities, ya know!
I see the green fringe that was mentioned. Shutter speed 1/125th; did you use a tripod? The pic is nice and sharp. Just fyi I think it's an interesting and worthy PAW. |

Ohmygosh. I don't know about the rest of our PAW buds, but I find this VERY interesting. I LOVE moon photos. And this is fabulous. I thiiiink you (and us) are going to love that new lens. What a great job it did on this.

Great start! I see good detail in the moon. You might try desaturating the greens to get the green fringe to go away. Or maybe that's the green cheese... |

Play with the contrast a bit and you'll really bring out the craters on the moon's surface. Nice shot |

new equipment is always fun. it seems a bit "gray," maybe play with the brightness/exposure just a hair, or contrast just a bit? |

Cool moon shot Marc! Isn't it fun to try out your new gear and see what it's capable of? You will find more ways to take this same image, over and over and over.... LOL Been there, still doing that! |
