This is a great advertisement. Although not a beer drinker, i am originally Dutch, so i appreciate the Heineken (the French text was noted so i believe i know who you are) ! The presentation is nicely seamless and layed out in a logical manner. Love the droplets on the bottle; they help my eye wanting to go back into the picture instead of out. Just saw this image when reading the Fine Arts thread. I like this image because i can relate to it and the feelings it invokes. And yes, so very appropriate to submit it to the Travel challenge. Because the biggest trip is the travel we do with the Self. And when life is unraveling, we have this tendency to get in the car and drive aimlessly 500 miles to nowhere just to get the crap out of our system.
You put a lot of yourself, at least in one particular point in time, in this shot. Power to you!

A heck of an action shot. Feel so close to this action that i'm afraid he's just about to fall into my lap. Hence, the title is most appropriate :) The composition gives this shot a nice balance. Also 'feel' the tranquillity of this activity - helped much by all that blue sky below the jumper. Normally, sports shots don't have that much appeal to me. This shot though does because you managed to turn this into a representation of a modern-day Icarus. It's quite a statement about how far the human race has come. Find this picture very artistic. 10 Journey

Nice car, nice colors, nice picture. Personally, would have preferred a bit more dof on the trees since the 'red' is so strong and doesn't want anything more to compete for attention. 8 Journey

Travel, Back In Time

Nice landscape. Did you have any control over that red vw bus? If not, you were very lucky because it's a critical element (color particularly and challenge too) in this picture. Like the colors. Trees seem a little oversharpened and they read as 'busy' somewhat which unfortunately mars slightly the nice, quiet feel of the picture. Just wondering, do i 'know' you? 8 Journey
