Composition : I see you received several comments that there is too much space on the bottom of the shot. Personally I disagree with that. The negative space gives the subject a direction to drop into. Without that space, you have less of a feel of "dropping". Then again, they may well be right and I could be the one that's wrong :) Or maybe we're both right. Maybe the space lends direction to the shot, but perhaps there is a tad too much of it. Maybe a "little" off the bottom would be an improvement. What do you think?

Exposure / Lighting : Great exposure. By luck or design, you caught just the right light/exposure. I'll assume it was design :)

Focus : Wonderful. No issues here.

Post Processing : If you did any, it is subtle enough so it looks like you didn't.

Challenge / Wow : Challenge nailed. No doubt. Wow factor is absolutely there. Wonderful shot.

Beaten by the other 'nutter with a propeller strapped to his back' photo for me, but this is still great. Good sharp focus, great composition against a perfect blue sky and a zoom lens to die for!

this is just great! 10!

Definitely a valid try at 'Transportation,' but the image doesn't really have much else going for it. It feels like a semirandom snapshot (though at least the focus is nice and crisp). Maybe a different cropping would have worked better?

I think this image needs more value. Maybe if there were clouds or something in the background it would make the image have more interest.

i think there is too much negative space in the photo.

Good shot!!! For my taste, I would have liked seeing more of the bottom third cropped, but a high score from me anyway.

I like how he seems to be just "dropping in".

wo. very nice color saturation of the sky ... makes for a very nice background for your main subject. Love how the "flyer" is suspended from the top of the phot. Great catpure. Jakco. 9

Great subject. But I'm not sure if this much empty space at the bottom really helps.

Fun! I like how the prop. almost looks like wings! I would like to see how the photo would look with more context - like, what is he "dropping" into? Or perhaps more sly on the left where he is looking, space for him to move into. I'm not sure it would work, because all that blue space emphasizes how he is hanging in the air and give a nice feeling of space.

i like the idea you were using to do this challenge. there is to much blank space at the bottom of the picture if you zoom in a little more it would be more intresting.

A heck of an action shot. Feel so close to this action that i'm afraid he's just about to fall into my lap. Hence, the title is most appropriate :) The composition gives this shot a nice balance. Also 'feel' the tranquillity of this activity - helped much by all that blue sky below the jumper. Normally, sports shots don't have that much appeal to me. This shot though does because you managed to turn this into a representation of a modern-day Icarus. It's quite a statement about how far the human race has come. Find this picture very artistic. 10 Journey

The blue background really adds to this picture!
Did you purposly make the guy off-centre? I like that too! Makes it look out of control.
well done!
