Goin' Homeby guilotalComment: I like that there are many cars going the one direction and only one going the opposite direction. Colors seem a little muted. Good luck |

Midnight bonfire to welcome springby puzzledComment: fire is a fun and possible painful thing to shoot. (I did one of a bond fire and adjusted the tones to close to b/w and got a really cool effect.) Nice shot, nothing blown out or blurry. Good shot and good luck |

respect authority!by muckpondComment: The three statues at first were a little annoying but when I noticed what they were and what they were facing I laughed. I wish the street lights were not so bright but their rays add a little to the shot. Great tones on the main building. Good shot and good luck |

Southern Crossby storytellerComment: I have yet to get a good picture of stars, good job. Doesn't have a whole lot of interest but is nicely shot. |

Spires rising in the dark.by Aussie_BlueyComment: My first thought was Disney Land...I love the tones it has and how it peeks out above the tree line. I wish the top two crosses could have been lite more but that was out of your control so no biggy. Good shot and good luck |

Ribbit!by tolovemoonComment: bad blur, try and always use a tripod when shooting at night although if this guy is real I'm sure you didn't have much time to get a shot off so good effort. The flash has burned out his backside, night photography can be very difficult and not knowing what camera you use it is hard to offer help on how to avoid this sorry. |

American Flagby sabphotoComment: This shot was rushed and there for I forgot to stop and adjust my f-stop and work on getting the flag in focus not the sailor. The dull colors are due to the fact that I didn't realize my JTX LCD monitor at home is not at all calibrated and shows things brighter than they really are. I have since tried to calibrate it with failure being my only result. So now I send my submission idea here to work to view it on a CRT and adjust as needed. My next submission already looks better.
Thank you everyone for your comments, some were rude but all appreciated. Thanks...I'm learning from them |

More precious than...by bhowieComment: I loved your image though did give it a 9 for the comments I mentioned. I have to comment to tell you don't get discouraged, if you'll look at the images in the profile for the one that said "poor quality image..." you will notice that they have a TOTALLY different expectation on what quality is. You will find here that you can't please most everyone as it is usually the person interrpertation of what the challenge is about.
Still love your image. |
