Great color, great composition, but I wih the face of the duck were just a touch sharper... the same goes for the leaves... a telephoto shot to snap it all into focus at once would be nice!

Shape is not texture, and these definitely fall into the shape category... with 'texture' in the title if feels like you're trying to sell it too hard. It's neat but doesn't fit, in my opinion.

While the image is cool, it doesn't emphasize texture as far as far as I can see... texture is the surface of something, not the shape of something. :) Also, I would have cropped that orange bit off the upper right.

This is amazing looking. The light is wonderfully soft, and the blown out background is great, it really hilghts the curve and leaves of the tomato.

What *is* it??? I have no idea! I wish the image were sharper, but not so I can figure out what it is, just because it's too blurry. :) I would have cropped off the black in the corner, too!

I like simple abstract images, but I like them really obsessive... the ridge on the left is closer to the edge of the picture than the one on the right. Also, the circular hole just kisses the edge, which feels awkward to me... if you cropped off just a touch of the right side it would address both of those issues and polish the composition, I think.
