Hibiscusby stormyComment: This makes for a nice abstract - good perspective and well composed. Not too often you see someone photograph the back side of a flower but this definately works. I'm really impressed with how everything seems to radiate from the green stem thing. |

Midnight Mist by RulerZigzagComment: 10 ones is indeed bizarre - this is a fantastic shot...I wonder whether some of the trolls got through the cracks. I'm curious though -must have been a bright night to get a shot this light out of an eight second exposure at midnight ? And I can't figure out what that golden area is to one side of the bridge - I know it's not the sunbecause a) the shot was taken at midnight and b) there are lights on the bridge?! Edit - I also know becaue I read one of your comments down below :). Whatever it is, it's gorgeous and really adds to this shot.

In Between the Bridgeby StagoleeComment: Sheesh - drove from sydney did you ? A trip down to circular quay might have been easier and got you a score nearly this good - but I personally wouldn't have been half as impressed - great job! |

Extraordinarily Peacefulby stormyComment: Well this is an immensely satisfying shot - great pastel colours - perhaps there are some compression artifacts or something, but in a funny way that almost adds to the painterly feel.
Great shot! |

Hidden During Votingby e301Comment: Had this pegged for second (Behind JJ) - how it fell this far into the thirties really surprises me. I really thought you nailed each and every element of the dpc recipe for success - A) it jumps right out at you. B) It's technically spot on C) It's lighthearted and as a bonus contains dpc specific humour.
Ah well - you made me laugh, and a 6.3 is nothing to sneeze at. |
