It´s Written In The Stars by LalliSigComment: Ha, now you're smokin! That 24/1.4L sure is crisp. Love the composition. The fence & road lead the eye right to the farm, then the combination of the star field and aurora lead it around and back in a loop. Perfect. I even like the little bank of illuminated cloud. Was there any moonlight on the foreground, or is all that from the aurora? I suspect that you had at least some moonlight...
Edit to add: you also captured M31, the great galaxy in Andromeda. It's the fuzzy, bright bluish "star" near upper left. Message edited by author 2007-03-08 10:41:05. |

Xlendi Bayby eliteComment: This is beautifully seen and captured. You should have used the full 640px width and gained detail. |

The Drive Homeby alanfreedComment: Testing, Testing, 1,2,3, testing...
OK, time to enter a real comment!
I really like the symmetry of the roadway. The Roadway also provides a great leading line to the skyline. My eye naturally follows the skyline from left to right, and returns to lower right via the wall. The asymmetry of the left and right trees help this flow. The placement of the skyline along the upper thirds line is perfect, IMO.
The deep blue sky is stunning, and really makes this, IMO. I also think you got the sharpening perfect. It would have been very easy to oversharpen this.
