Wilson Warehouseby SJCarterComment: I think these are great. They remind me of the old postcards that was drawn in with no color. I think back in the early to mid 1800's. I think the effect has a great emotional and era feel but I would keep it old building that are in good condition. Doing that would give each photograph a great vintage look.
Great Work both on the taking the photographs and post processing. I really like picture one, two, and four because the effect seems to fit the subjects. I like picture three but the building looks to new for the processing used.
I hope this helped, and believe me you did a great job.

Night-traffic.jpgby MiykaelComment: I think it looks good. As stated by others it does look a little soft but that maybe due to the f20. Some sharpening should do wonders. I love the curves and lines. Great Job!

Absolute Still by SkipComment: Congratulations Skip on your blue. Very nice and great title. OH, and congratulations being the 5th highest Blue Ribbon to date and over 100 - 10 votes. I believe that to be the most 10 votes to date as well but I will have to look though and see.

odd-blue-IMG_2249.jpgby Bear_MusicComment: Very nice. I love the colors as they play on my sense of temperature in this shot. Very nice, I feel the cold from your vantage point but see the sun shinning on the foliage above making feel the warmth within the photograph.
Nice POV, great contrast and color.

A guiding light from the heavensby DelRioPhotoComment: Very nice capture. Hard to get a shot of almost 180 deg of sun rays in one shot but you did a good job with this photograph. I love the tone and the processing seems to be just right. The reflection on the water is a great addition. I do not feel anything in the foreground of this shot is needed, I believe it to be great as it is and a very fitting title as well.
Keep up the good work.

auroraraw.jpgby mcmurmaComment: Good job! Nice random colors that come together with out clashing. Makes me want to put on a good 70's song and make this my wallpaper on my computer.

IMG_0039.jpgby strangeghostComment: I like the composition and I love the tower in front of the sun but it seems that to much detail is lost in the landscape. The landscape is not predominant enough. Other that that I like the capture. Good job! |
