This is such a great shot!!! It's just too bad that it was entered in this challenge instead of another, such as the October Free Study, because I suspect a lot of voters will mark this one down for not meeting the challenge ("considered non-domesticated mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians living in a natural environment"). I really like this photo, though, so I'm *not* penalizing it in my own voting. I know that many others will, though, and in a different challenge, I'm sure this photo would have done *really* well.

Great shot! I really like the position of all of the elements of this photo. It's very appealing to the eye. I think this would be better if it weren't quite so dark, but it's still a great shot. (And you have to love the expression on this guy's face!)

Great title that really adds something to the charm of this image. I really like this photo. I'd like for the focus on the eye and beak to be a little bit sharper, and I wish the crop weren't quite so close at the top of head. Other than that, though, the composition is good, and this shot has some real character!

A really cute photo. Nice crop, a richness of color in the giraffes, and a DOF that invites the eye to examine the giraffes. Good choice of title, too.

What a beautiful shot! Incredible detail and attractive colors. I might have prefered a little bit more space at the top of the photo, but it isn't a huge concern for me. I really like this photo. Good luck!

Beautiful colors, great composition and sharpness, and an excellent DOF. Love the bird's expression, too. If I *had* to pick a fault, I would say that the tip of the beak has a washed-out spot, but honestly, it doesn't bother me or detract from my overall impression of this photo. Good luck in the challenge!

This was an interesting idea, and it really has a lot of potential. I think a darker background would be better, though, and I'd experiment with the positioning of the banana to pull an eye into the photo a little bit more.

Nice idea and well done. I like the composition, too, with the edge of the apple cropped out of the photo.
