| I love the beautiful colors, and it looks like your lighting was great. A nicely done photo, but it lacks that "something extra" that would really make it jump out at me. |

| Beautiful colors, great composition and sharpness, and an excellent DOF. Love the bird's expression, too. If I *had* to pick a fault, I would say that the tip of the beak has a washed-out spot, but honestly, it doesn't bother me or detract from my overall impression of this photo. Good luck in the challenge! |

| A very vivid and bright image. Wonderful colors with good detail in the feathers. Considering the entire bird isnt in the shot a tighter crop may have worked better. The background looks nicely blurred but the beak and the shoulder are also a little OOF so just shifting the focus a tad or closing down the aperature a little more would have gotten more of the bird in focus. A very cheerful shot. |

| Wild is right. Great color. My only complaint is that his breast is out of focus. But his face is perfect. Lovely bird. |

| Unusual blue fringing on the chest feathers, never seen that before (compare the other shot of rainbow lorikeets). Greta photo, all the same. |
